CB South would like to extend our many thanks Kate Seeley for organizing yet another successful PooFest, and we would also like to thank all the CB South residents for participating, and thank Camp 4 Coffee in CB South for hosting the registration.
Did you know that the next best thing to home mail delivery is a CB South P.O. Box? Yes, it is true mail is delivered right here into the neighborhood. We have P.O. Boxes available for rent inside the old CB South Bus Stop Building. Rental fees are $20/year for a small box (5”x6”) and/or $30/year for a large box (5”x12”). Package parcel lockers are also provided for larger packages, and our mail building is open 24-hours a day. Best of all, your street address can now be the same as your mailing address!! Call 349-1162 or stop by the P.O.A. office for more information.
Construction will begin this summer on Phase One of a pedestrian path that will eventually run the length of Teocalli Road (on the south side). This first phase will be the construction of the section from Cement Creek Road to Cascadilla Road. Planning for this path has been over a year in the making, and construction of this 8-foot wide gravel path is intended to help improve safety in our neighborhood by separating pedestrians from vehicles on the busiest road in CB South.
This summer will mark the first year that the P.O.A. will make every effort to rid all of our road right-of-ways from noxious weeds. CB South Staff will be mowing, weed whacking, pulling, removing, and spraying all (yes all) of our road right-of-ways throughout this coming summer, so please keep your eyes on the lookout for our Staff and make every effort to drive cautiously around them!
